Brightspace/D2L Question Converter

Purpose: This page converts text-based multiple-choice, true/false, and fill-in-the-blank questions into code formatted for importing into Brightspace/D2L.

Step 1: Prepare the questions. See the formatting page for the details. A quick guide:

• Questions are separated by a blank line
• True/false: Statement followed by a single line that contains either "true" or "false" (not both)
• Multiple-choice: Statement followed by answer lines. The correct answer is marked with an asterisk (*) at the beginning.
• Fill-in-the-blank: Statement (with blank) followed by answer lines that begins with a percentage sign (%)

Step 5: Upload and import the file questions into quizzes or the question library.
