How to calculate the eta squared effect size

Eta Squared is an effect size statistic for one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests. Use the sums of squares values from the PSPP output to calculate this effect size score.

This example is from the one-way ANOVA used for inferential statistics.

Effect size interpretation guide: .01 is a small effect, .06 is a medium-sized effect, and .14 or higher is a large effect (Salkind & Frey, 2019, p. 243).
